Lisa S. Kelsay, Participating Stakeholder Expert

Lisa S. Kelsay is the assistant dean of liberal arts and the director of academic arts at Moraine Valley Community College. She is also an adjunct professor in the graduate school at Purdue University Global. Kelsay holds a doctorate in higher education from Loyola University Chicago, a master's degree in student personnel administration in higher education from Ball State University, and a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Akron. For the past twenty years, she has worked in both student affairs and academic affairs—private and public—and at two- and four-year colleges. Her research has been published in The Journal of College Admission and About Campus, and she is a the co-editor of Working with Students in Community Colleges. Kelsay has served as the chair of the Commission for Two-Year Colleges at the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) and as the assembly coordinator of commissions at the organization. She is a 2017 ACPA Diamond Honoree and a 2017 inductee of the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference Co-Curricular Hall of Fame.
