William Belden is the vice president of student affairs at Clark College. He has more than 25 years of community college leadership experience and previously worked at Green River College and Northern Marianas College. Belden is currently pursuing his doctorate degree at Oregon State University in community college leadership. He is committed to the mission of community and technical colleges because of the important role they play in investing in our local communities and providing access to educational opportunities. Belden is a leader of the guided-pathways initiative at his institution, helping to align curriculum, systems, and policy reform to support the financial, career, and educational goals of students. He strives to build and support strong institutional and community partnerships to help support the infrastructure changes required to support educational transformation.
